HARLAN COUNTY BUILD-READY SITE

Located at the Veterans’ Memorial Trail Entrance in Cumberland, Kentucky, this project is the first certified build-ready site south of I-64 and east of I-75. As the catalyst for the Harlan County Business Park, this build-ready site is a significant economic development milestone in Eastern Kentucky.

This project involved the design and construction of a 50,000 SF build-ready site with the capability to expand to 100,000 SF for either a larger building or a second building. Thoroughbred provided geotechnical and construction inspection services. Through due diligence and collaboration, the project achieved Build-Ready Certification.
