BLUEGRASS BAPTIST CHURCH

Thoroughbred constructed this 9,500 SF, one-story church using a shallow concrete foundation, slab-on-grade with cold-formed steel, steel columns, steel joists and beam roof structure with metal decking. Our civil engineering services team produced a comprehensive hydraulic analysis, grading plan and complete set of civil drawings, which incorporated information from Thoroughbred’s surveying and geotechnical reports. This unimpeded communication between various Thoroughbred team members expedited the design phase.

As the project entered construction, Thoroughbred provided construction staking, KBC Special Inspections and materials testing. We conducted KBC Special Inspections for soil, concrete, cold-formed steel, structural steel and masonry construction components, as well as fabrication inspection.
